Re: 2020 Election
How awesome was the turnout for the Biden campaign. Truly record shattering. All the weeks spent in Michigan registering new voters and getting people to the polls was worth any and all sacrifice we had to incur. I'm proud of everyone that came out but let me say especially how impressed one has to be of the various minority groups that came out BIG in the key urban areas that helped to power the Biden campaign to victory. Detroit , Atlanta Flint were huge successes in this fight to turn Trump out of the White House. But Milwaukee voters and especially minority voters were key in this fight. Our Administrator estimate that our team sent into Wisconsin is responsible for 5200 new voters coming out to have their voice heard. We are so proud of that accomplishment. The effort put forth in Michigan was equally effective but thankfully the final result here was not nearly as close and in fact the blue wall was put back in place. We are so glad to be heading home in a few days. Hoping we do not have to go down this route in four years. There is talk Trump might pull up his tail and walk out the door before being thrown out and try to run again in 2024. Let's hope not.

Re: 2020 Election
AZ just updated the counts. 3,000 votes added, and a miniscule net increase for Biden!
They are at circa 97% counted, and that suggests about 100k votes to go. Biden ahead by 20k. So Trump would need to get over 60% of all remaining votes counted, if my math is right. The '97%' number is probably a bit suspect though. I think it's vital that AZ goes Biden, because I know the AZ voting system is very unfavorable to democrats (no grace period on ballots, etc). And they've been majority mail-in for years. And they have a Rep Governor, and Rep State legislature. So the chances of finding any 'fraud' is miniscule. With AZ and NV, they don't need PA and GA! |
Re: 2020 Election
I felt they could have called the race with AZ and NV, but wanted it to be PA due to Scranton - it made a better story.
Glad to see that AZ is still 20k up, yesterday it sounded like it was going to be much lower by the end of that day, and a toss-up by time the final one counted. |

It cannot get any more ridiculous. But we can hope. Of course they claim it was not some screwup, but we know better. Rudy Giuliani details strategy in the car park of Four Seasons Total Landscaping, a suspected mixup with Four Seasons hotel in Philadelphia
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...-garden-centre I could write jokes for 800 years and I'd never think of something funnier than Trump booking the Four Seasons for his big presser, and it turning out to be the Four Seasons Total Landscaping parking lot between a dildo store and a crematorium. pic.twitter.com/P45HV1daD9 — Zack Bornstein (@ZackBornstein) — Angry Asian Man (@angryasianman) — Kevin M. Re: 2020 Election
Who exactly calls the election results? All I have seen so far is the news networks...but I’ve not been paying much attention this weekend. :o

The believe the local secretaries of state have to certify the final count for each county. And of course Congress ratifies the whole thing in January. |

That’s what I thought...Biden’s victory isn’t official yet. Seems odd to me that news networks are calling the shots. The US election process is a farce IMO. Not to mention the expense of the inauguration. What’s wrong with one in, one out, the same day like UK elections? The new President will take office at the end of January. At the end of next year the run up to the 2024 election will begin. |

Yep. And every state has a different deadline varying from this week, into early December.
