Wouldn't work for you or I though. If we had been overheard at the drinking fountain we would have been down at HR no time flat and out the door very shortly afterwards.

That's typical offset puritanical behaviour of the American right, that. Can't say bad words, that's terrible. Implied sexual assault is just fine because weren't the 1950s just great, but bad words? That's right out.

It's the same with TV. Cable TV might not be regulated the same way as regular terrestrial TV. but it's all still about what you can get past the advertisers. Take AMC (Walking Dead) as an example you can have
Spoiler:
Glenn's head bashed the **** in, brain exposed, eye popped out, trying to talk showing visible signs of extreme brain damage and then the aftermath of his death
(spoiler tags denote both extreme violence and extreme spoilers, you were warned if you're not caught up), yet a character well known in the comics as a '**** the ****ing ****s' style speaker can't even say his signature word. Also, can't show naked ladies because that's the work of satan, right.

I hate to see her punished for the failed Clinton campaign. But there is something to be said for knowing when to leave. John Boehner is having the time of his life. Harry Reid is looking particularly prescient at the moment as well.

Tim Ryan is challenging her for the job. His chances of defeating her are at around 30 percent very unfortunately.
In light of the Dems losing 60 plus seats in Congress since 2009 and what appears to be a mass defection of blue collar workers to the GOP it's quite obvious that she needs to go. The Party however might bury it's head in the sand, oblivious to the catastrophe and keep her on

She's been overrated for far to long. A failure as House Speaker, failure as Senate Majority Leader, failure as Senate Minority Leader.

Although I don't hold it against her she a very wealthy person living in San Francisco. Hardly the kind of person an unemployed factory worker in Ohio or Pennsylvania could identify themselves with

As has previously been pointed out to you she has never been a senator.

Very nice house on Pacific Heights, although I think most of the wealth comes from her husband.

There's no denying that she failed at those jobs, then.

She also failed at being an astronaut, a doctor, a teacher... really, there's no end to the jobs she's failed at.

Yes I know. He's been spreading himself around the talk show circuit. He says the same thing in every interview .... he ridicules the idea of job retraining because blue collar workers don't want to do no stupid tech jobs! What blue collar workers need is more jobs operating backhoes! Backhoe jobs for everybody!

It sounds very Trumpish, promising the jobs that people think they'd like rather than the jobs that are actually available.

Operating a backhoe is a skilled job, and people who know what they are doing are quite well paid.

I do not like Pelosi for the obvious reasons, do not know him so will not comment.

I do not remember Pelosi talking part in the Election campaign? Obviously may have missed it, or Harry Reid for that matter.

So Mr. "I never settle a lawsuit" Trump.....just settled the Trump University suit for 25 million.

Donald Trump settles Trump University lawsuits - Nov. 18, 2016

This settles the civil suit and I am not sure how this might influence any fraud charges.

I know. I'm just not quite sure how he's going to get the rust belt out of the ditch by promising them jobs that (1) already exist IN OTHER STATES and (2) there are people already doing those jobs.

Heavy equipment operator is a decent job and so is truck driving. They require skills, training, criminal background checks, and drug testing. A lot of these unemployed males will not pass muster. Besides, there is not a huge shortage of qualified people for these jobs in those states.

Cue tweet saying he never did anything wrong and only settled because he's too busy as president-elect to deal with it.

You didn't mention welders, carpenters, electricians, auto mechanics, linemen, pipe layers, water treatment technicians, sheet metal workers These jobs are in demand, No robot can do them and don't need a college graduate with a PHd to be able to be trained in them

I don't know much about Tim Ryan but Pelosi definitely needs to go. She's a non achiever. I can understand that she doesn't. Hanging out for years in Washington's corridors of power with all the perks must be very addictive.

As Speaker of the House when the Dems held the majority I can remember her spouting off about what a wonderful world it was going to be for the middle working class. She failed and the GOP gained the majority later on and held on to it ever since.

It's the failure of leadership that has enabled Trump to hijack the working class vote. I doubt he'll deliver but the Dems need to clean house and the time has come.

Nor worth a toss as leader of the Democrat Party. Ellizabeth Warren is a whining and irritating non entity also.

BTW I'm sure we are going to have a woman President one day and in the not too distant future. If Michelle Obama ever decides to run she'll get my vote any time. She did a better job at the election rallies than Hillary did.

The one person who bothers me most is Paul Ryan. You members of the younger generation may just one day be reading about Medicare and Social Security in the history books

...

Yes. I understand that. How is Ryan going to deliver those jobs in areas that have no economy? It's the same argument that I've been making ... people will have to retrain and some of them are going to have to move to areas with better economies. I agree, the leadership in those states have failed to attract new businesses. That sort of development takes money and it takes decades. These are empty promises.

A massive influx of financial aid to these areas by the Federal government coupled with a massive program of job retraining no matter how long it takes

America has been pouring billions of dollars into other countries across the globe for 70 years. Why not start investing some our tax dollars at home?
