I've been waiting for Michigan to pull their fingers out and missed that Trump has taken a wafer thin lead in Pennsylvania with 96% of the vote counted!

Well...all those idiots who said they were voting for Trump because they wanted change...enjoy the change you will get...SCOTUS appointments that will continue Citizens United...roll back Roe vs Wade...favorably rule in favor of voter supression laws...and more. If Trump screws up trade..and the economy...enjoy the job loss...if he gets us into another war..enjoy sending your kids to fight it. If his racist followers now feel empowered to commit violence..enjoy the blood on your hands.

If that is your concern you should be more worried about the 30%-40% of Americans who can't be bothered to vote at all.

Believe me I am not fond of them either. Sometimes it is closer to 50%. I am all in favor of voting being mandatory.

Does anyone else think the headshot of Trump that NBC is using, at a distance, looks like Bill Clinton!?

I hate to say it, but ... he had a lousy 'ground game', he was actively opposed by a lot of his own party (more so than any other party candidate), he didn't spend all that much money (and got little from the RNC).

But he still (seems to have) won.

The liberal left completely misunderstood his appeal to those who have been left behind in the post-industrial, rush to globalization. Instead of trying to attack his flawed arguments they just resorted to insults and character smears.

The average American has been divorced and has a shitty attitude towards their spouse, and nobody seemed to recognize that attacking Donald Trump for those things was tantamount to attacking the electorate.

I still think Clinton will win, but looks pretty close right now.
