538 have switched from Clinton over 70% to win, to Trump at 55% to win.

Well no credit to his prediction if it happens... kind of like changing the odds on a sports bet because one team is winning with 2 minutes left

Dow futures down over 600 now. Enjoy those depreciated 401k's or stock holdings.

I suspect all them people who said they supported Clinton actually secretly wanted to cast an anti establishment vote for Trump, but were too embarrassed to say so, hence the crap pre election poll results

its closer than predicted and can still go either way

I don't want to think where the market will be by the morning. Obviously lots of confidence in the self/proclaimed brilliant businessman. What a nightmare.

I lost faith in polls after our last provincial election. Had NDP going in strong and should have one, come election day the BC Liberals took them out, the pollsters were so wrong.

My daughter suggested this to me some time ago - said that some people wouldn't admit to being a Trump supporter for fear of people thinking they were racist, etc. She said she thought that the polls were wrong. I didn't believe it at the time, but now, unfortunately I think she may be right. Very scary.

Conversely, everyone I speak to here in AZ has surprised me by speaking out against Trump ... so I was thinking even AZ could go Clinton ...

California and Hawaii no real surprise have gone to Clinton. She now has a slight lead, can she keep it?
