the carbon tax he just rammed through parliament is scandalous, obama would've loved to have done something similar Nobody has rammed anything through Parliament. The PM and his environment minister have proposed that, unless the Provinces legislate some sort of carbon pricing structure, the Federal government will legislate to impose one. Ten of the thirteen provinces and territories are onside with that approach. One is ideologically opposed; one is concerned that concessions on infrastructure spending should be packaged with a carbon tax; a third has raised the point that they have already imposed different mechanisms to achieve the same goals, and are already below 1990 emissions levels. Where is the scandal? |

There is NO shortage of coverage about Trump, and it certainly should be covered.
But seemingly a blinding silence in the MSM about Clinton? Even if was say 75% Trump and 25% Clinton I could sort of understand, CNN hardly seems to mention here and her misdeeds. Trump certainly shooting himself in the foot. It was his election to win, no one to blame but himself. |

A1: Abuse is hard thing to admit happened, especially when it's all powerful person but even when not it lives with the victims for years and years gnawing away at them A2: Trump stood in front of 80million people and said it was all talk and he NEVER DID IT, several of the women has said that was the trigger But Trump campaign has it all wrong about Hilary in this aspect, whatever her faults ( and there are some serious ones) she reacted normally in the 90's against women who threatened her family. Saw a Republican congressmen say the only reason he supports Trump is concern about Supreme court. He said neither Trump or Clinton could change much with the people and Congress so divided. Poor Melania but I suspect she knows what he is like. |

I wrote a long reply to your earlier comments then (being Canadian), erased it, and by the time I came back all the imports from the Maple Leaf came out and beat you up themselves, well played! Brought a tear to my eye. |

But now Trump seems to be making it easier for them. I still wonder looking at the meltdown whether Trump has some sort of issue that interferes with his common sense in how he is managing this campaign. |

The only reason why this tape thing has sunk him is because this country is sex obsessed, which is a little weird for such a bunch of prudes. |

Maybe more puritanical than other countries, for better or worse, but if that means distaste for such comments I cant disagree with that. Locker room talk sure maybe in his teens or twenties, but as a father and grandfather in front of a journalist ? Staying in the room with Howard Stern after his daughter being called a "piece of ass" ? I don't think I know of any father of a daughter , democrat or republican , who would put up with that. So maybe as you say a nation of prudes. |

I am curious. When Bill Clinton did the things he did, his supporters who admitted the misdeeds said that was his personal life and didn't interfere with him being a good President. Now those same supporters saying Trump's misdeeds in his personal life would interfere with him being a good president.
