I bet Al Gore wishes that was the way to win the election as well.

Libertarians are pretty consistent. They don't want government to do anything.

Should the government invade other countries and shoot at the locals just for fun? No.

Should the government keep you from smoking pot? No.

Should the government prevent you from being gay married? No.

Should the government protect you from corporations that want to data mine and nickel-and-dime you to death? No.

Should the government do anything to keep you from starving to death or dying of cancer? No.

And so on. Just say no.

Forgive me for missing it, but at what point did Bernie resign, withdraw from the primary and suspend his campaign?

If I want to understand American politics (or for that matter, anything that doesn't involve English celebrity gossip), the Daily Fail is not my first stop.

In any case, Debbie Wasserman Schultz's secret disdain for Bernie Sanders' candidacy was such a secret that the voters didn't know about it. And given that most folks don't even know who she is, her opinions of Sanders were probably irrelevant to virtually all of them, anyway.

Bernie Sanders lost the primary because he was less popular than Hillary Clinton. His failure to connect with minority voters was a particular issue for him, being that he specializes in retail politics for white people. Much of the American electoral landscape does not resemble Vermont's.

If Sanders wanted to win, then he should have been more popular than she was. You win some, you lose some.

Lot of love for Hillary on here, Trump has no chance. Someone should do a poll and see who will win the expat vote.

I haven't seen much love for Hillary. I've seen a lot of 'I'll go for the lesser of two evils' comments though. That doesn't scream love to me.

Sanders is one class act, and unlike Clinton or Trump, he showed integrity and how a campaign should be run. He outlined a clear plan, and whether one agrees with it or not, I think no one doubts he was his own man, and one with clear convictions that backed up the rhetoric.
