2016 Election

Re: 2016 Election
The "commentator" types on tv generally don't, Glenn Beck has pretty much admitted it. They know there is a market for what they say and they are happy to make a pretty penny from it while it gives an advantage to their political side. Bill O'Reilly calmed down remarkably when the Republicans started screwing up the economy - it may have been coincidence but I suspect that he couldn't wholehearted support them when he knew they were making it all go wrong.

I'm sort of with you on that. I'd get rid of MSNBC and a bunch of other stations I never watch, in exchange for discounted HBO and Game of Thrones. But that won't happen with DirecTV.
I like FNC because they have the blondest news anchorettes with the greatest legs and shortest skirts in the news business. Best eye candy on the air.
Also, Megyn Kelly is without question the smartest female interviewer on any of the news channels - even though she's also blonde with great legs. She doesn't ask stupid questions like that ditz who was the only one who interviewed Hillary, and who used that opportunity to breathlessly ask her to tell the world her favorite flavour of ice cream.

In Scottsdale, they have this 'Barbie Doll' lookalike anchor who looks so 'fake' that I can't take anything she says seriously ... Stephanie Hockridge Stephanie Hockridge - ABC15 Arizona . She's a shoe-in for Fox News at some point in the future ...

I further understand that the caucasoid peoples can range from blonde, blue-eyed, pale-skinned surfer-dudes in Scandinavia, to olive-skinned Mediterraneans, to very dark-skinned people in southern Egypt and points south and east, back to pale-faces in Iran.
Of course the answer to that question - if they are - doesn't tell us what colour Jesus' skin was, and neither does any book in the New Testament. Megyn was careless, forgot to be PC for a moment, and, I understand, was trying to reassure kids (whose parents were presumably all Fox News viewers) about that mythical figure Santa; and somehow He got dragged into the discussion by her.

I'm not taking a side here, but do have an anthropological question: if anyone knows, are semitic peoples currently considered part of the caucasoid branch of the human race by anthropologists? I understand that in the 19th century they classified humans as belonging to the caucasoid, negroid and mongoloid branches, with a possible fourth being australoid.
Either way, Jesus (if he even existed, which is doubtful as it is) may have been 'caucasoid' and he almost certainly wouldn't have been black, not even the Egyptians were, but he certainly would be a lot more swarthy than the pale, Italian looking bloke who is normally depicted in religious art.
He, if he was around now, would probably be able to get a decent gig playing bad guys in 24 or Homeland type shows.

Brianna Keilar [url=http://www.cnn.com/profiles/brianna-keilar-profile]But by far the best 'serious' anchor is Christiane Amanpour CNN Profiles - Christiane Amanpour - Anchor and Chief International Correspondent - CNN.com ... she and Fareed Zakaria are the two I always sit up and listen to.

I'm not sure it does. Given Fox News' audience consists mainly of men over the age of 70, don't they run the risk of killing them all off by getting their hearts racing too much. Plus the fact that old people use most of the healthcare in this country, killing them off will reduce healthcare costs and make it look like Obamacare is working. A double whammy.

I was looking at a Forbes list of the, as we say in America, earningest, celebrities. Limbaugh, Hannity make quite a lot of money out of peddling their hate, better than being a preacher. And so many of them move from entertainment to pseudo-politics.
#11 Rush Limbaugh $79 M
#89 Sean Hannity $29 M

Megyn was careless, forgot to be PC for a moment, and, I understand, was trying to reassure WHITE kids (whose parents were presumably all Fox News viewers) about that mythical figure Santa; and somehow He got dragged into the discussion by her. No need to care about the kids who aren't white, as their concerns aren't relevant.

I think they made a big mistake by not having relegation/promotion in these debates.
