I would have equally noted the situation if it had been the other way around.

But after a recent car purchase, I received 3 or something months free Sirius XM, and tuned into Sirius "Progress" or something like that, the liberal equivalent. It was awful. No intelligent discussion or analysis, just underhanded stabs, shallow commentary, ranting, etc. I.e., although I would probably agree with respect to at least some of the issues, I thought they were no better than Rush Limbaugh. Pitiful.

But - I bet if you look into audience stats, you'll find the right-wing talk-radio shows are the ones with the listeners; similar to broadcast media (that is, Faux Noise).

Plus, the guy was apparently US born; so you could ban all the Moooslims you want, this guy was a citizen (I presume).

But I can see the arguments now - "if only everyone there had a gun to defend themselves with" (probably a lot more than 50 would have been killed as it would have become a shoot-em-up ...).

And they are calling this the biggest (something) ever ... but what about Timothy McVeigh / Oklahoma ....

ETA: just heard on TV that he was armed with 'An Assault Rifle" ... I'm sure that will stir up some gun-nut commentary ...

Biggest mass shooting, I believe. Not biggest terror attack as OKC and 9/11 had more casualties, just two name two.

Very true..given that many right wing evangelicals will likely see it as Gods punishment of gays. Kind of just like ISIS thinks.

Someone just posted a link on FB about Orlando and all the comments I saw were along the lines of 'Well that's good, they were gays' 'Should get all gays in clubs and shoot them all'. Humans are ****ed up.

Does not surprise me. There are some really hateful people with warped minds.

Has anyone blamed the victims because they were gay? It's only a matter of time before they do.

It's two sides of the same coin. Both religions are derived from the same mythology, are filled with the same amount of hate towards 'the gays' (just one example), are each responsible for countless wars and atrocities, and are both utter fictional bullshit.

What a vile piece of shit he is. From what I can gather from various god botherers, god apparently loves everyone. Some even say that 'they hate the sin but love the sinner' or some such bulllshit. This guy calls himself a) human and b) christian and he's glad these people died? I don't understand. :(

Good suggestion. I've never actually listened to his show, but have liked his commentary elsewhere. Will have a listen while my free subscription lasts!

Don't disagree with you at all, I suppose I just expected a little more. But I suspect that both sides tend to cater to their more extreme bases, at least as I could judge from the callers. After a nutty caller talking about some huge conspiracy between the federal government, the banks, and Hillary Clinton, the host spent 15 minutes making fun of Trump's facial expressions and making rude sound effects, followed by 10 minutes of commercials. I gave up after 30 min. with nothing of substance.
