My conclusion is generally 'innocent until proven guilty'. I found it shocking that some of the GOP candidates were sabre rattling against Iran, and there is a tendency in the U.S. to demonise that country when it poses no real threat to the region.

Re: 2016 Election
No0body demonizes Saud Arabia. It is ruled by royalty and anyway if you did demonize Saudi the Queen would be very upset indeed,
Next time a Saudi prince pays a visit to Britain that deafening sucking noise you hear wont be the sound of her bathwater draining out |

Re: 2016 Election
So is anybody watching the Democratic debate right now?
NBC News and available on their YouTube channel. Kicked off with gun control, Hillary out of the blocks strong. |

Martin O'Malley doing a poor impression of window dressing on the stage.
He must know he now has less than a snowballs chance. |
Re: 2016 Election
Hilary is sounding passionate.

Re: 2016 Election
Hillary noticeably exalting Obama throughout the course of this debate so far.
Bernie struggling to appear likeable. He definitely believes in what he is saying. Just buzzwords, though? |

Re: 2016 Election
O'Malley suggesting taxing capital gains will solve our problems... not sure on that one.

Re: 2016 Election
never mind.

Re: 2016 Election
I don't know what Bernie and Hilary hope to achieve when all's said and done. They can talk their heads off about taxing the big corporations, gun control, Super Pacs or whatever but they'll still have to work with Congress to achieve it. Sanders is so far off politically from the GOP that you'd have to take a passenger plane to get from one end to the other.
I just see further gridlock continuing from 2016 onward. |
