15 minutes of fame
Andy Warhol said, "In the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes."
However I've recently noticed several people referring to "10 minutes of fame". Where does this come from?

Re: 15 minutes of fame
Much of the youth of today have to take their socks off to count to 15, and therefore cannot grasp the length of time expressed in the original statement. Hence the reduction to 10.

Re: 15 minutes of fame
Your 15 min of fame now features a 5 min halftime show/commercial break netting you 10 minutes of actual fame time.
Something has to pay the bills, all this fame isn't cheap you know.

Funny you should ask. The wiring burned up on a test run the day before I was supposed to leave. I had to abort the plan for the moment, throw some crap in my truck and leave it.
I'm staying with a couple that I met for the first time two weeks ago when my wife and I came down to look around.
Life's an adventure, eh?
