Default Weather Ko Samui

Hi everyone. can anyone tell me what the weather is like in August and September, weather charts are saying there is lots of rain and I was thinking of a wedding in one of those months.

Any advice ?

Re the rain, how come?? Koh Samui on the eastern side and I know it gets the north-east monsoon big time in November/December. I didn't think it got much of the south-west monsoon (May to September-ish). Phuket on t'other side does of course.

Actually Phuket isn't to bad, we've had one brilliant week of amazing weather, one wasn't as good with two days of rain.

Ah well, I don't mind Thailand, from what I've seen, but can't understand why people rave about the place.

But then again, I don't do Asian women....

Doesn't surprise me with the torrential rain over the last few days, today is gorgeous though, I'm in Kata on West coast, for another 6 hours at least....
