Thaksin to be pardoned??
According to Thaivisa website, there has been a secret cabinet meeting in the Government. (Clearly not that secret if Thaivisa knows about it.) It's about (allegedly) an amnesty (which might include Thaksin). It's HM King's birthday very soon and apparently this is the time when these things get effected.
The PM was apparently missing from the secret meeting as she was stranded with her helicopter somewhere and said helicopter could not fly at night. (Bakedbean note: sounds like a cock n bull story to me).
Interesting time to be leaked. If anyone wanted to protest in Bangkok... but, hang on a minute, it's flooded
So... how exciting
Abhisit is up in arms of course, as he would be.

Dread m'luv where have you been? Thaksin was PM. There was a coup. Current PM is sister of Thaksin. C'mon keep up

I knew there had been a coup but that's about the sum of my knowledge of Thai politics. I get enough of Indian and Goan politics - and that's enough for any one human being to contend with !
