Default reasonable cost medical insurance

Hi All, all set to go next week, visa in place, so my next question is does anyone know of a reasonable priced medical insurance for long term to permanent stay in Thailand, i appreciate with insurance you get what you pay for, in the UK it seems very expensive, i obviously would require Hospital cover at the very least, don`t require Dental or Maternity, not sure about out- patient, any advice appreciated. Regards.

Sorry, but there is no reasonable insurance at your age. Once you are over 65 it gets difficult to find insurance esp. with Thai companies.
To start with I would look at travel insurance from UK. I believe there are companies which cover you for more than 90 days for a surcharge. Then make enquiries when you get to Thailand. Better forum to look for info is thaivisa.com.
