Hi Everyone,

I am a former Warrant Officer Royal Engineers; I retired from service in 1993 and have now been living in Asia for almost 15 years, 5 years in Taiwan and currently over 9 years in Bangkok.

I'm very much looking forward to being involved in forum discussions which do not degenerate into online bickering, so I hope I may have found it here.

My first question on British Expats is whether any other former servicemen have current details of the Military Pension rates, as it has been suggested that there may be an anomaly with my current rate.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have often made pertinent and well considered comments on ThaiVisa.com, only to find some slimeball looking to start an argument based upon no knowledge whatsoever of the subject.

I find the best way is to simply ignore them. It's clear from the repeated attempts at picking up the argument that the lack of response really does get to them...!
