Art Supplies Stores in Bangkok
Hi, I just moved in Bangkok three months ago and still don't know much about this city.
I am looking for shops which sell art supplies; like mounting board, drawing board, drawing tools, e.t.c.
Anyone knows? Thanks a lot!

Try MBK and around that area. Or Chatachack(sp) Market on the weekend.

If you are in or near the Banglamphu / Ratschadamnoen Avenue / Democrtacy Monument / Sanam Luang - this is the district with many universities including Thammassat, Silpakorn, the Grand Palace and the national gallery - or Pinklao areas there is a large shop on Ratschadmnoen Klanga bout 100 m on the right (looking towards Pinklao bridge) from the Democracy Monument. It is specialised in artists', school, and educational supplies, all at very reasonable prices. It' worth a trip to see. I have been using the shop for about seven years, but unfortunately can never remember the name. There is nowhere to park conveniently if you are travelling by car. Best way from downtown is an 80 - 90 baht, 15 min taxi ride or 511 orange aircon bus from outside Panthip Plaza computer mall, 20 minute ride, 16 baht.
