I am hopefully heading to Oz on my husbands 175 visa, but am also considering my options when I get there.
I have a BA (Hons) in early childhood studies and really want to stay teaching within the age ranges of under 7's.
I am expecting to have to do the grad dip in education but am struggling to find advice on the exact qualification I will need to teach this age range.
Please advise someone who is going round in circles!

I have a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies and a P.G.C.E. in Primary with Early Years Specialism. I have gained a positive assessment from Teaching Australia stating suitability to teach both Pre-Primary and Primary.
Hope this helps.

I don't have the PGCE - I was about to do a PGCE in the UK but now looks as though I will probably do the grad dip In Australia instead.
Do you know if there is a place that I can get more info about teaching the pre-primary age ranges, where jobs are advertised etc - all the sites I have come across seem to be directed towards primary and beyond.
Thanks

The only site that I know about is Early Childhood Australia. There may be links to other sites from there.
After that i'm not sure.
Hope you find what you need.
