my Fiance is a primary school teacher and just moved back to Oz and is looking for work.

She wants to work in Brisbane or Gold coast(she's based in the Gold Coast).Does anyone know any agencies or Jobs she can apply for.Any advice would be fantastic.

Default Re: Teaching

Have a search through the threads for teaching in Queensland. She will need to register with the Qld College of Teachers (requires degree assessment and police check and payment) and then register with Education Qld (free). TRACER are the agency who coordinate most day-to-day relief work although she should still send her cv and app letter to school principals advising of her employment history and availability.

If your fiance wants to teach in Catholic schools she will still need to register with Qld College of Teachers and then register online (upload an online profile) with Cath Ed Brisbane Diocese (for Brisbane or Gold Coast schools).

If she has teacher registration with another Australian state/territory or from NZ there are reciprocal agreements with Qld College of Teachers.
