Help NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi guys....
I'm new to this forum so please don't bite :-D
Anyway.... I am due to get married in a few months and hope to move out to live with my husband in dubai. I am a teacher but my fiance is not.
I really would like to have a job sorted before I go out there but im finding it difficult to find one. I have applied to Sharjah English School over a week ago and havent heard anything back from them :-( And I applied to two schools yesterday. I'd like to work in Dubai or Sharjah.
Anyone know of any good schools that are looking for teachers? How do I go about it all??? Im looking at the tes website but there are not many positions for primary teachers. How long do schools normally take to get back to people who have sent out their cv's etc?? Is it hard to get a job there??
Please help as on top of wedding pressure, job hunting is totally stressing me out. And advice would be grateful.

Hello, waiting one week you still have plenty of time to here back.
They can wait a couple of weeks to get all applicants forms in before deciding who to interview.
Keep trying the TES, jobs are usually still on for several months. So still time to get a job.
Also google International Schools Dubai, International Schools Sharjah. This should bring a list of schools up in these areas.
Then look at each website, as they often have jobs advertised on the schools website.
*Even if a school advertises late in the year, doesnt mean they are awful. International schools often have teachers leaving at short notice. eg teachers doing a few months to one year and deciding they miss the UK too much.
