Default College legislation in WA

I have been in touch with the Western Australian College Of Teaching (WACOT) over the last year and have been informed that there are changes being passed through Parliament by the Minister for Education in September that will take effect from early next year. Does anybody know anything about this?

Thanks

I take it from the silence that nobody knows much about this?! I have managed to find out that it is related to the 'potential' introduction of Teach for Australia (Teach First equivalent), who qualify teachers through classroom exposure and school experiences after a three year degree - a very similar method to the GTP!! Anybody got any further news on whether Teach for Australia will be implemented and the likely consequences for the potential for GTP?

No, haven't heard anything about this at all. It will probably take years for WACOT to do anything about it as usual.
