Another teacher can certify your documents.
Must be signed, dated and school stamp.

However think if its for online application for visa, if you do colour scans it doesnt need certifying.

Good morning

Thank you for your enquiry.

All applicants are required to submit certified copies of their original documents. It must be clearly indicated on each document that it is a ‘certified true copy of the original document’, or similar and it must be signed by the certifying officer. Please provide contact details of the certifying officer.

Documents may be certified as true copies of the original by one of the following authorised persons: Certified Practicing Accountant, Commissioner of Oaths, judge, Justice of the Peace, magistrate, registered medical practitioner, notary public, school principal, solicitor, or embassy official.

Priests are not included on the list of people authorised to certify documents.

Kind regards

We used our solicitor, and he didn't charge us as we were paying him for other work.

I believe you need someone from the list TA sent you to certify documents and it is different for the visa - colour copy is fine. I think TA came into being last year so there may have been some changes.

Hi, All my certificates were verified by my Solicitor - it was £15 for the first page and £1 per page thereafter. I think the price varies from person to person, so worth getting a quote first. My mum's solicitors wouldn't do it at all! Hope this helps x

Some Citizen Advice Bureaus have a Justice of the Peace on duty on set days and they can certify documents. Usually free, but you can make a donation.
