Hi All,
Just starting whole process and sent of expression of interest for 457 visa. Been reading some of the threads and sounds like it's all been put on hold for mo. Can anyone tell me more please? We are hoping to go to WA so anyone out there on 457 - good experience?
Any info about 467 visa very welcome.

WA 457 is on hold. We're off in Jan 2010. No one knows how long the hold period will be. But would say it's very likely that teaching will remain in demand in Aus.
Are a few on here who've got PR visa and settled in various areas in Aus. Hopefully one of them will contact you. Oh and Gems will give you the answers to 457 queries.
