when are Canadians going to wake up?

I have. As an evidence-based scientific website it seems very believable, as it's owned and run by Jonathan Allen-Walker, a metal fabricator from Scunthorpe.
The authors of nearly all its articles are anonymous, thus their credentials are unable to be checked/verified, which adds enormously to the authenticity of the opinions presented. The one regular contributor who doesn't mind waiving their anonymity is Emily from Leeds, bless her daring little heart.
Requests for donations abound and in such proliferation! A permanent header, placed in articles, and also fetchingly appearing as frequent random pop-ups. There are also monthly fundraising appeals on its home page, on Twitter and on Telegram. There was a crowdfunding attempt on Go Fund Me, which sadly netted Jonathan a big fat zero. Jonathan might have to do a few more welding jobs to make up for that one.

You are definitely going to get what's coming to you.
Emily will make sure of that.
