The area where I live was originally built as an artists' colony in the 1920s and it has one or two landmarks left from that time in a striking art deco style. The fountain is a small local landmark, the historical society has it as a stop on their tour etc.
Now a crappy Wal-Mart style plaster garden statue of an angel holding a harp has been placed on it. I presume somebody thinks they have 'improved' it, aesthetically, religiously or both?
Not sure if it pisses me off or makes me smile, hopefully it won't stay there long.

Ohhhhhhhhh - I am so SICK of pejorative political speeches, false promises, lies, mud-slinging, more lies, slander, and predictions of disaster if one or the other candidate is elected! It never ends and nothing positive is coming from any of it!!!
