The Brexit Election That Wasn't
It was supposed to be about leaving the EU. But then something changed.
Days after the results, those Brexit talks will begin in Brussels. And then it will be impossible to hide the realities of what Britain has chosen to do. What the Brexit election did not provide will be left to the cold, hard slap of economic and political reality.

Here's another one:

Corbyn has all but refused to "go down that road", opting for focus on illusory promises of social spending.
May talks about Brexit (sort of), but only in the "I'm the only one who can save us" context. No depth, just oversimplification (and more "flourishing Britain" rhetoric contrary to all credible data).
It's the single most consequential act since WWII. It's bewildering how it can be so sidelined in a snap election which was called specifically for that purpose.
...except of course, for the obvious fact that it's a losing argument in any political debate, and political suicide to open that Pandora's box in any debate or discourse.

We would all like to be out asap but these things take time, nobody promised this would happen immediately.
Parliament voted for it.

Well, it was quite a surprise when they actually found out what Brexit actually means. So, I can understand that it would require some time to formulate some sort of damage control strategy, although there's still not much sign of that.
And as I (and others I've posted links to) have suspected all along, I reckon that explains why nobody wants to discuss it, even in a snap election called for the specific purpose of validating it.

It appears to be just another attempt at demonising the EU (presumably, to justify Brexit, which is what the UK election was supposed to validate), but honestly, I don't see anything particularly dubious in the court's ruling.
