If you're referring to "delivering Brexit" then yes, I'd agree to the extent that "leaving the EU" is now a foregone conclusion.

It's probably worth pointing out that "Brexit" is rather subjective though, subject to a very broad range of interpretations of a broad range of voters, of many promises starting before the referendum. Most of which won't ever be "delivered".

But other than that, he's reneged on virtually all other things he's promised, and even those put in writing. The DUP would certainly agree with that assessment, as would the EU.

At least Paulry has conceded that Farage is a liar and a cheat.

There's hope yet.

Every time one thinks the Nasty Party can't go lower, they push and push and down they go ...

MPs have voted 328 to 227 against the motion to thank those who worked to respond to the floods and call for an independent review to assess the government's response and decide what lessons need to be learned.

From UK House of Commons @ houseofcommons

Fun detail for today :
Mr. Boone proposes a new bank holiday which he wants to call ''United Kingdom'' day ...
Better be quick before it will have to be called ''Ex United Kingdom'' day.

This might be interesting; I've not seen it yet, it was broadcast earlier this evening.

What's the verdict on Sunak's stimulus/support package? There's a lot in there, and it's obviously more than any government has done in a very long time, for obvious reasons. I want to give him some credit. Are they the right things, and is it enough?

I'd like to know how it'll prevent hyper inflation Lion. The Tories spent a decade quantitatively-easing, by electronically printing money into the banks, whilst making sure no support went into the general economy, under 'good' austerity...... NOW they're pumping loans and from today direct support to businesses (many of them Zombie businesses who operate zero-hours contracts at barely minimum wages and whose workers have to supplement by working-tax credits.). Once again, the money supports the employers to support the status-quo, but not directly to the employee.
I'm no financier, but if money is constantly being injected in this way, without direct contact to where it's needed and for those who need it, isn't the UK building up an unsustainable pressure-point, which when the virus abates, can only produce hyper-inflation?
Sunak can announce what he likes when that happens, but he can't recall the money.... because it's sitting on zombie balance sheets, and been directed to the wrong place.
Hyper-inflation or a Big-Bang..... No other outcome imo.
