It's just an internet forum. No need to take everything quite so seriously.
If you don't want to participate on a thread, then, well, don't.

It certainly is "a weird poll". What is it's purpose?

#34

I've looked around but I can't see what thread it's 'spun off' from. Mind you I did have a male/child look.

It was a spin-off from this one. I actually posted it in the Maple Leaf forum, not here. I don't want it here. I've asked 3 x for someone to delete it, they won't because they've decided it's an 'important thread' and they've decided it should be here, not the ML where the original thread was. Without that context imo it doens't make much sense. So if you wanna bitch about it, then bitch to the mods, I don't want it here.
Myself and another BE member had talked about starting it in the ML largely as a response to some of the posts by members on the thread linked above.
I am really pissed off it's here and not the Maple LEaf.

Seems nobody has mentioned men being raped by men, the recent Libya trial where a pissed guy was raped by two of gaddafis finest in Cambridgeshire raises this point, it does happen, never mind what happens in prisons the world over. Like I eluded to earlier, life is not an event free, clinical utopia. Shit happens the world over, just don't see the point of raising it on here. So for the record, I have suffered the last three, but not rape. I am now going to take a self imposed break from this site, not sure I like some of the unstable posters on here, I am quite disturbed by the nature of the posts, this is private shit, if you need a shrink, seek one.

The subject of this thread appears to be canvassing female users whether or not they have been sexually harassed in some way.

Women harassing men is unacceptable, and should be as socially taboo as the other way round. People should not harass people full stop.
Having said all of that, for all the 'what about the menz' comments - all the language around (female) harassment of men is usually around how uncomfortable they feel, that they are being made figures of fun, their dignity is lost, they are degraded. That is not a good environment to be in.
Contrast that with the language from women reporting harassment from men - all of the above plus fear of being hurt, fear of being raped, fear of being killed if they speak up, report harassment, defend themselves.
For those reasons it is still a men's world. Promote equality and respect, teach our sons (and daughters) that it is not cool to touch or comment on other people's bodies and they should defend the vulnerable and that ultimately Yes means Yes, No means No. Maybe then harassment in general will start to decline.

Maybe the latest fashion tip Put Down That Thong, Girl: Granny Panties Are (Apparently) Coming Back in Style | E! Online will change attitudes to future harassment problems.
For myself I'm so glad that granny pants are back in fashion and confess I never thought the thong was sexy...I always found one or more of my testicles would fall out the sides.
So, come on 'Victorias Secret'.... help us guys out and bring back the granny pants...
