Not at the expense of my work/life balance. No sense earning more money if I'm going to stroke out at 55 due to stress, is there? Plus, we have retirement plans anyway, and about 30 years to build up savings. I'm not a big spender as it is, so I'm not worried. Don't forget, there are two incomes in our household, my wife has a very secure job as well and both of us get cost of living/general pay raises on a regular basis. There is no need to knock my pan in when I can keep doing my thing.

I've been involved in buying many family companies, often the workers and even close family never saw it coming. We then centralised many of the "central services" functions.
Good, always worth developing those relationships. Hope the economy is not in a downturn at the time.
It's a perfectly valid choice, but you're adding risk for current comfort
To earn more money and develop more savings etc.

You don't live forever- you will die. Does that figure in your world at all? If you are old and have a lot of money you just might get sick and not be able to enjoy it. What then? No fun while young, no relationship with the kids and the wife because you were working all the time, then sick, old age. The big house empty, just cleaning personell coming in making a dying lonely man a coffee.

It seems our post brexit future has moved from the US, Canada, India to Africa where the UK is now playing catch up with the US, China and France..
Its not new money just reallocating the aid budget.
One has to ask what our so called Trade secretary " Fox up " has been doing for the last two years , apart from conspiring with his fellow ultras to disrupt negotiations with the EU.
