Even if you could plant exactly the same bean crop in exactly the same soiul in the UK, duplicate the local weather conditions (or ship the coffee to the UK from India), and brew the coffee with exactly the same water as in India, it won't taste the same in the UK. Try bringing/shipping some beans from India and taste the difference. Even the water temp and method of boiling makes a difference.

Any bets on whether the government will continue funding those regions post-Brexit currently receiving EU funds, from the money we won't send to the EU?

Jean-Claude Juncker: EU chief facing no confidence vote after call from MEP Eva Joly | Politics | News | Daily Express

"BELEAGUERED Brussels chief Jean-Claude Juncker is facing a no confidence vote in the European Parliament after a crusading MEP vowed to bring him down over his alleged links to tax-dodging firms."

Surely not,

the guy is a shining example of everything the Eu has ever stood for.....

So bloody generous of them to give us some of our own money back to be sure.

Best not ask where the rest of it goes mind.

Fortunately those three regions weren't dumb enough to fall for the Eu's biggest of all Con Tricks.

Maybe some day someone will get around to explaining to the Remoaners, the true purpose of what appears to be a seemingly pointless exercise.

Deutsche Bank report shows UK taxpayer will pay if Britain stays in EU | World | News | Daily Express

"A NEW report has added to the pressure on the Government to get Britain out of the EU quickly highlighting how the UK taxpayer could be in hock for billions of pounds if the Deutsche Bank collapses."

"With Germany’s biggest bank teetering, a private meeting of major investors in London yesterday discussed offloading their assets in the troubled financial giant.

The potential collapse could trigger an economic catastrophe in the EU with Deutsche Bank’s holdings worth two thirds the size of the entire German economy, 25 times bigger than Northern Rock which set off Britain’s 2008 financial crisis when it collapsed."

"At the first opportunity, I will bring a motion [before the the European Parliament] to make him fall."
I thought she'd bring a motion of no confidence....

But isn't any allegation of wrongdoing as a country's PM a matter for that country's government to investigate? After all, you'd be unhappy if the EU tried to force Theresa May out of office, wouldn't you? Because that would be undemocratic.

To poorer regions of poorer countries, in the same way that the taxes you and I pay go towards those unable to work, or who are retired. Both categories pay less into the welfare pot than you or I, but take out far more than we do,

Now replace the unemployed and retired with Eastern European countries, and you and I with countries like the UK and Germany.

....or maybe this as just one example of many...

European Union diplomats plan £2 million imperial style dinner service - Telegraph

"Fit for an emperor, EU diplomats plan £2 million dinner service
Crystal whisky glasses, silver candelabras and fine china decorated with gold EU flags to form glittering dinner service for Brussels' ascendant diplomatic corps"

....while millions in S.Eu live in poverty under the cosh of the Eu imposed austerity regime, with youth unemployment running at up to 50%

while they blow money towards roads to nowhere, airports with no planes and an 80billion plus rail system which is little used and losing money hand over fist and which could have been put to much better use in the U.K.

I could of course mention the funds they can't account for in their accounts, widespread corruption etc, etc.

The list is endless,
yet this bunch of unelected self serving crooks are the same people that the Remoaners in their infinite ignorance would like in charge of their affairs ! ! !

Absolutely mind boggling ! ! !

Just aswell they don't have castles like the English MPs. You think they are so different?

Douglas Hogg, a former Conservative Cabinet minister, included with his expenses claims the cost of having the moat cleared, piano tuned and stable lights fixed at his country manor house.

Big difference,

We have the democratic option to kick them out,
unlike the unelected dictatorial Eu elite.

I'll include the bit you missed.

The European External Action Service, the EU’s foreign office, will buy a “sparkling” array of crystal glassware, silver cutlery and fine china to host banquets and dinner parties for visiting dignitaries, the Daily Telegraph has learnt.
The tableware – to cater for up to 3,360 officials and guests at the EEAS' Brussels headquarters and 140 embassies around the world – will come embellished with the Flag of Europe, engraved on the drinking glasses and painted in gold on the “top quality” crockery.
£2,000,000 divided by 3,360 sets of tableware comes to £595.24 per set, which seems to be a very good deal for custom-made high-end products including crockery, glassware and silverware.
