The only crisis is within the Eu itself as it lurches from one self inflicted to disaster and bust up to the next and with unelected buffoons like old Junky in charge it's no great surprise.

Think about that statement, Dick, seriously. It's nonsense.

Don't bother. He'll likely need hair of the dog to lighten his hangover burden. By then, cognitive functions will be limited to clickbait headlines.

I agree Eric, that's one of the issues - 5 Presidents and Merkel also - no one knows who is in charge - maybe time to reorg?

Cameron: Juncker’s election as Commission president is “profoundly wrong”

Even a UK PM admits Juncker was elected.

Sterling fell below E1.13, manufacturing production down, including vehicle manufacturing one of the markets driving exports.
House prices fell for third consecutive month.
I am sure someone will come along and tell us that it has nothing to do with falling disposable incomes due to currency driven inflation, or the fall in business confidence as we wallow in post referendum , post article 50, post general election lethargy.
That the news media is being lefty and anti Brit for reporting facts..
As the song goes " always look on the bright side of life ".

Oh, you're not agreeing with me - you're agreeing with Dick, although I can understand your reticence in coming to terms with that

But as most who can read in any of the official EU languages understand, the 5 Presidents have different responsibilities. And though the media seems to want us to believe otherwise, Merkel only has a say in Germany's position within the EU. Of course, if the UK'd ever had a strong pro-EU PM, we might actually have the same reputation Merkel has.

Merkel is a foreigner. You want that reputation?

I tend to agree but less influence than Merkel as Germany is the EU's paymaster but more for what we pay for sure.

The 5 presidents indeed have different responsibilities - divide and conquer perhaps?

Britain produces nothing and now it has to pay more for it's imports on top of the fact that foreign investment is drying up.

It's the fault of the remoaners. They've talked us into this because of their accurate forecasting and understanding of the basic principles of economics.

If they had gotten behind Farage, his red bus and magic money tree we'd be on top of the world like the good old days of the empire.

Major, Blair and Brown were all strongly pro-EU, and still are. Even Thatcher was for a while.

All have had problems with the right wing UK media, 'the bastards' and a strongly nationalistic underbelly of widespread euroscepticism in the nation as a whole, that wot UKIP tapped into.
