I was on board an aircraft that did a Kay-San approach once - that was pretty sporty.

So, how long will it take us to make up for a 96% drop?
And what will happen to patients in the meantime?
Was there any sort of plan for this?

On the bright side, now those highly skilled British nurses can finally take back those low paying, long hours jobs that those pesky Europeans stole from them (while living on benefits).

Training new nurses will take a while. And if we don't add pay incentives, we will still struggle to increase the intake from the UK, all the more as we will have to ship all our young people off to pick carrots, etc., apparently.

The supply of EU educated nurses has not been "cut off", why should they not continue to apply once the present uncertainty has been settled.
Twice as many have come from non-EU countries, they are also trained.

Because the may feel not welcome, but if the UK can fill the gap with qualified nurses from much poorer countries where their skills are needed then brexit will appear to have worked.
Our local " so called branch of a university has about every course you can think of for the local school leavers but anything related to Nursing.
Beautition, hairdresser, keep fit instructor etc etc.

Best we settle this 'present uncertainty' as there is a global shortage of nurses.
