Where on Gib could I buy a 300m2, villa with heated pool ,aircon etc.
Why would I be crazy enough to swop that for a concrete box on a rock.
To be fair pre vote I had this image of Gib populated by Fred clones.
The result proved that I was wrong and that they are just a tiny minority.

Jealous of what.

Don't worry your new friends the smugglers, tobacco barons and tax dodgers are happy you are not resident here but have also asked why you didn't put the following avatar on your profile on the 24th June last?
Also they said to let you know they are increasing their quota of Bluefin again this year.

We've only got your word for that and you are notorious for lying on this forum

It will be the poorer paid hard working citizens of Gib and rest of The UK who will pay the price of Brexit.
As today's inflation figures are starting to prove.
Tinned tuna will be a luxury for them.

It is the poor and hard working who are paying the price of EU membership by having their wages suppressed with cheap imported labour

The EU doesn't stop any country setting a minimum wage law, or prevent them from raising or lowering it as the country chooses to.

How do you reckon that's possible? Doesn't the EU make everybody poor? Or not?

Of course Germany was more prosperous without a minimum wage. Maybe you should thank the Turks and those Germans working under the mini-job scheme for that. The rich profiting from low-paid workers. They (those working in mini-jobs) are also excluded from the employer's social security contributions. Great for businesses. ‘Germany is practising wage dumping,’ was one argument before the minimum wage.
Unemployment has come down in the UK because it now takes two or three workers on fifteen or twenty hour contracts to do the job of one working a full week. Add on zero hour contracts and new self-employed (to get away from the JobCentre) and this is why unemployment has come down.
The minimum wage on a twenty-hour week will not pay the rent. Social dumping from the European Union sees to it that an employer need not raise wages above the minimum wage.

Apparently, the EU only makes Britain poor. Good job that's ending soon.
Anyway, adios! Write if you get work.

Almost everyone but Germany,
but who cares about everybody else anyway, as long as dreams of the Fourth Reich are still alive ?
There again apparently Germany isn't Germany anymore, so what follows next is anybodies guess.

Brexit: Remind EU about cancelling German WW2 debt to get better deal, says senior Tory MP | The Independent
Interesting perspective, though it seems some folk have limited memories.
