Brilliant piece, that is why I put it on here.

As there was no work around, she made us start our own business.
Thanks Maggie, with hard work we had a very successful business.
I knew you knew we knew you had

If you can follow that ...

The difference between an IRA wedding and an IRA funeral? One less drunk bastard. I remember being really happy when Bobby Sands died - I know his dialing code was 8-nothing, 8-nothing and he lived in Nuneaton. Arseholes.

The URL says Grauniad, but when I clicked on it I seem to have linked to a Telegraph op-ed.

It feels a little anti-climatic.
We have had 'the queen is dead', but there will be no 'long live the queen', all feels very royalty-like, but no succession.

I've adjusted the post to a quote and accredited the author who appears to be a Steve Chiverton. It appears to have originated from FB but am unable to locate the source group page.

Yup. Was working during the 3 day week. The winter of discontent. The Thatcher years. The lot.
