I've mentioned our new pool build a couple of times recently. Well we had to return to the UK before it was completed, so we left access keys to the garden and the underbuild so that electricity could be connected. The electrician was going to leave our keys in the mailbox.
On returning no keys! Contacted the builder who has chased the electrician (Spanish) for them for two weeks, a pain because we couldn't retrieve anything from the underbuild (only one key!) So today the builder comes back with them and to carry out the snagging list, almost everything was fine except for the remaining landscaping which needed finishing. Entering the underbuild to check the connection- I had shown the electrician where to put the junction box before we left. We were confronted with the picture here. The builders mouth dropped open and he was left for words when he saw it, the leccy had charged a 100€ for this
anyway after an angry exchange of words on his phone, the electrician is returning tomorrow to do the connection properly.

I'am assuming this power take off is for the pool pump and lights if fitted, if so most if not all pool pumps and lights will have a ground (earth) , make sure they have installed 3 core cable or some kind of grounding system, only 2 core showing
