Are you famous??

Just thinking of the anonymous nature of posting on a forum, and got the thought that maybe Patsywhitehair was really Liz Hurly? or that Mitzy could be Ray Winstone?
So go on, are any you also famous household names?
Or who would you like us to think you are??

We aren't famous but hubby is a musician who had a local following when he was in a band in his younger days. The lady living next door to us is the mother in law of one of the members of Simon Dupree & the Big Sound (Kites) who had a little known keyboard player step in to play for them one time - name Reg Dwight!

Ok so I am name dropping now, but dont want to feel left out lol. I used to be mates with Lisa Stansfield at school (many moons ago). We used to wag off school together and go and sit up at the local amateur rugby ground in the sunshine lol.

Nice one :D I've been to Rochdale a few times, lived about 12 miles away in Rossendale :)

Bill Roache (Ken Barlow) once held open the door to the chippy for me, he was going in as I was coming out, when he was living in Haslingden. I was 16 so it was a 'couple' of years ago

Oh yes - almost forgot - Tony Thorpe (Rubettes) was a mate of hubbys.

Yep I was brought up in miserable Rochdale, but luckily spent the last 20 years at Hollingworth lake so not too bad.

I used to manage a store in the Trafford centre and personally served David Beckham. God he was bloody gorgeous. One minute the store was empty and the next minute it was heaving. Even got his autograph cos he paid by credit card lol.

I had a cup of coffee with Charles kennedy at my landlords house a few weeks back, does that count?

Ooooo and I worked for Greg Rusedski a couple of months back, and a lot more famous people as well.

Does that count?

My little brother is Andrew Pierce formerly Assistant Editor of The Times and now moved to The Telegraph. On television a lot these days and also on radio. Used to do a radio programme with Charlie Whelan on Sunday mornings. Does this count? Also knew Gilbert (Ray) O'Sullivan and his family from school and church days. My Home Economics teacher was the Mother of Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues. That's the nearest I get to being famous!!!

You're up against (not physically) Jodi Kidd - you're going to need to be Jordan's underwear fitter - and in need of an apprentice - to oust Matt.

Our daughter returned to UK last year as thought it would be better to bring up a child there, returned here shortly after realising their mistake, ha ha, while in UK they lived in Little Borough, near Holingsworth Lake, small world, now back and settled in Spain. Claim to fame for me/us, many years ago Keith Relf (Yardbirds fame) took me out for a drink, snogged Ray from the Kinks (Yuck), and when our son was a toddler we lived in Canada and our best friend´s brother was Micheal J Fox, he was a little boy then and used to play with out son, he was 3 years younger but smaller than our son at the time..

Bloomin eck, what a small world!!! Mind you with her local town as Rochdale no wonder she shot back to Spain pretty quick!! Mind you, Hollingworth Lake is a lovely area and has one of (if not) the best primary schools in the borough. Where about at the lake did she live?
