with MH370 we have "facts" "factoid's" and "smoke and mirrors"
someone is distorting the truth, not telling things until pushed, holding back for "security reasons" and all sorts of other things, although abduction by aliens and secret squirrels haven't been mooted much

still want to know how it was the Chinese sent a ship out to the sea NW of Perth which suddenly had a whole string of satellite pictures to investigate, and then found a 37.5khz signal, followed by another 300 miles away.
And they report to Beijing not Perth, Beijing pass the information on several days later.
