Hello
Just wondering if someone may be able to give me some advice, as i have hit quite a few brick walls when enquiring into this. I am currently a student nurse, and will qualify in a year and a half. My ambition is to eventually move to Spain and work at St Bernard's hospital in Gibraltar. Does anyone know if i can live in Spain and be able to work at the hospital, or would i be required to live in Gibraltar to work there. I have family who live in Estepona, so I would preferably want to live close to them, but if needs be i would live in Gib. I have emailed several people with this question, including the Gibraltar Health Authority, The Gibraltar Government Employment Service, Gibraltar recruitment sites and even a Gibraltar nurses facebook page, but have not had one response from anyone. Can anyone help, it would be very much appreciated.
Thankyou

A high percentage of the nurses working for the GHA are Spanish nationals.
Hope that helps.

You really need to qualify and get some UK experience under your belt. Qualifying and getting overseas Nursing posts is very hard straight from School.
Over the years before retirement I nursed in the States, Canada and New Zealand, six fantastic years, your qualification is wonderful if you want to travel but you need experience more often than not.
All the very best to you and enjoy your work, it is rewarding
