No, you can’t work in the UK with a Spanish residence card. You’ll either need to obtain a UK visa which allows you to work or naturalise as a Spanish citizen in order to take advantage of freedom of movement rules before Brexit.

With a visitor visa you would not be able to work at all. You would need to find an employer willing to sponsor you for a Tier 2 visa. I don’t know your background but unless you have a valuable professional skill set and/or experience it’s unlikely that would be possible.
