Oh Steve(Sainty) I have to correct your spelling of 'road'. Its rerd and not roard. You have to remember how the southerner will pronounce those vowels

We could start a new thread on this. How did you get your nickname?
Mine came from a pub I use on the way home from work.
I always said I am only staying for one drink but never did!
So I got known as Johnny one drink, subsequently shortened to Johnnyone.
There are worse things I could be called.

Why not start it here in PDT or Siesta as well because not everyone looks beyond the Spanish forum.

+1 to Sally, and the lounge seems more the appropriate place as its a general thread, doesn't have anything to do with spain or any of the other country forums

To estate agents: if you're going to produce a glossy brochure about a supposedly swanky new-build property, don't call it a 'Dorma' bungalow.

Is floor art when the cat decides to try her hand at a Jackson Pollock after chewing on too many plastic bag handles? If so, we've had that ...

You should keep that. It'll be worth a fortune in a few years.
