I could care less <----- why is it so difficult for Americans to say I COULDN'T care less? To say you COULD care less is to say you do care somewhat and there for you COULD care less. To say you couldn't care less is to say you don't care at all therefore you COULDN'T care less than you currently do.
I use a lot of American forums of a different type and they all say it wrong....drives me nuts!

and the one I had to explain to my student the other day "Think" instead of thing which is becoming really common now. Gordon Ramsey was using it in Hells kitchen USA. But then everything Gordon Ramsey says irritates me.

'Not fit for purpose'

Once used by I think John Reid to describe the Home Office. Now used by every politician at every opportunity.

And staying on a political theme.

'Hard Working Families' this is trotted out all the time by lazy politicians.

The 'Supernanny' always says certain behaviour is 'not asseptable'. One day one of the kids picked her up on it, she just told the kid off

I'm sitting here writing this post as I set up a VPN to get around my schools web filter block so I can get on BE and Facebook. That's how not ready I am.
