Talking Wishful thinking in Marbella?

I'm new to this so hello everyone!!!

My names Kirstie, I'm 22 years old and I live in England. I work as a sales executive for an insurance broker.

This is going to be a real long shot but I'm moving to San Pedro, Marbella on 3rd April 2015 permanently and I'm going to need a room for a month or so just to get myself settled and somewhere to rent. I certainly won't become a squatter or anything and will definitely pay my way. Do any of you know anywhere I can stay or anyone that will have a possible room to rent? The reason I am asking so early is so I can get to know the person/people I am staying with.

Or if someone has a 2 bedroom apartment for rent, that allows 1 small dog as I'm hoping to bring my dog over once I've got settled, that would be fantastic too!

If anyone of you can help it would be amazing!!

Thanks

You'll have a heck of a job renting a room if you're bringing a dog with you....and TBH with what some people ask for room rent you'd be better off looking for a small, cheap apartment....try www.idealista.com

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention I won't be bringing my dog straight over, that's only when I have my own place but I need to stay somewhere to get everything sorted and thanks for the advice

As Concierge for the Spanish section of BE I would like to say hello and welcome.

BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums.

Please let me know if you need any further help.

I think it is a bit early to be looking for rentals for 2015.

There are a lot of villa owners there who have converted their basements into self-contained apartments which would suit you. A lot seems to be by word of mouth.
