Some of the supermarkets near me are advertising that they'll be open for a few hours on the Sunday morning. I imagine this is because they will not open at all on Monday and perhaps not on Saturday, or only for the morning.

Depending what time you arrive you could place an online order beforehand for delivery on Friday after you arrive?

A lot of the garages are open 24/7 365 days a year, but they do charge a bit over the top.
Shops will be open on Sat and a lot open on the Sunday for a while instead of Monday.
