Did you use the auto install or the manual one? Check you're tuned into the right region for Europe.

If its got the EU motif on the case it should be ok, or it might need a new sound chip for Spain.

If its anything like Germany it wont work unless its an all-singing-all-dancing TV. the Picture and sound are sent at 2 seprate frequencies a set distance apart, in Germany this distance is different, (not sure about Spain) so you can tune it to get sound with no picture or picture no sound.

The easiest way, and cheapest, is to buy a spanish video recorder (you can pick them up quite cheap now). Connect your ariel to the video and then the video to the TV and that's it! You have sound.

Or, if you get satellite TV this will also cure the problem, but a bit more expensive.

Hope this help.

Just one thing to add is that the video needs to be connected to the AV input of the TV with a SCART lead rather than to the aerial socket with a fly-lead otherwise you still won't get the sound.

I don't think a satellite receiver will help with getting sound from Spanish terrestrial TV channels although, of course, TVE International is available on Sky digital on channel 835.
