Default Who'd run a bar?

Terribly sad to see in my Spanish village that nobody has taken up the bar concession in the local municipal pool. I guess it's the problems of:- Paying the Autonomo...Buying stock, working 8 hours a day in the heat of the day, 7 days a week Paying IVA from the first euro and then getting slammed with tax which you can't claim back for a year.l Maybe whoever runs it for the 9 or 10 weeks of summer
also has to have hygiene certificates etc. Nope. I can understand why you wouldn't. I thought about it for all of 10 seconds.

Only 8 hours a day, my friend runs a bar and they open at 7am and close whenever the last person has gone, though not around a pool, Kitchen is so hot now I actually dont know how they do it, but is popular.

I've just found out more about it. It does open all evening as well but even more expense. You have to pay the Ayuntamiento for the privilege! At first they were asking 1,500 but they've dropped it to 800 per month!!! I know it can get busy in summer but then there'
s the stock and the 'leccy. Woahhh
