Been a bit chaotic - through from Hebden Bridge (very flooded - even made the local news), Todmorden (flooded), Walsden (trains stopped coz track under about a foot of water), parts of Littleborough flooded - river in front of our house broke its banks - never seen it that high its usually only a trickle but yesterday it was at least 15 foot deep - apparently we had the equivelent of 4 months rain in 12 hours - will try n upload pics of river. Have you been affected much down there?????
Anyway im glad to hear you are ok and hope you are fully recovered - we missed you - its been very quiet on here lately.

Hey it is a small world aint it - we are about 5 mins walk from the centre of Littleborough near the police station
- how long ago were they here. River has gone down - been dry today but raining now but NOTHING like we had yesterday - if anyone even mentions a hose pipe ban this summer they are gonna get it

They moved from Spain to there February 2006 and moved back to Spain september 2006, husband from Milnrow, they lived opposite the charity shop, and a junior school was just down the hill also. I do not have the address anymore and am racking my brains trying to remember the name of the road, some thing bridge I think ! Nice place but they realised mistake and missed Spain, very settled back here now.

I've hardly been on BE since just before Christmas, because we've had a very busy time just lately.
Next week, O/H is off to the States again..................this time for 7 long weeks!
so I'm sure I'll be about more often, once I'm "home alone!"

I do hope those flood waters keep receding, and don't cause you any trouble.
