The ITV sticker on my car shows 2014 and a hole punched on month 3. Does this mean i have to get my car ITV'd before 1st march or 31st March? (i think it might be 1st but just want to make certain) Many thanks in advance for any guidance.

It should be on or before the second anniversary of the previous test.

No one has answered the OP's question-he simply wanted to know whether the ITV was due before the 1st or 31st of March; he knows it's due on the 2nd anniversary!

I thought that at first but, I seem to recall, that it's neither.

DXF is correct that it's written (stamped) in the green Ficha Technical - which is why I didn't post.

Just found it, ta. date shows last itv and the receipt (white copy) says 'proxima ITV antes 02/03/2014' which is, as you suggested, 2 years after last ITV (02/03/2012 - which was my first one for this car). It will be interesting to see, if i go in about a week before the next ITV date, whether they state that the one due in 2 years from now will be 02/03/2016 or 2 years after the one I am going to go in for next Monday i.e. 24/02/2-16.

I checked a Ficha Technical that is why I gave the above answer.
