I hope the water is calmer that side than it is here at the moment for them.

Cloudy first thing, but then warmed up to hot also windy and I can see the surf from here.

We drove from Fife to Plymouth then got the ferry to Santander - 10 hour drive to Plymouth (with 3 stops for dog) 19 hours on the ferry then 10 hour drive at this end - arrived 11pm last night

Good luck in your new life Linda, We sail from Plymouth on 29th July!!! Luckily it's only about 20mins to the ferry from here. What was your journey through Spain like? We have no idea about how much road tolls are. could you let us know?

We came from Santander through Burgos, took a while, stuck behind a camper van!! After Burgos motorway all the way - one toll 2.45 euro. Had satnav though - big help. have a safe journey when your turn comes

Thanks Linda! I'm Flying with our son but my OH is driving down. I don't travel well on boats!!!!!! I've already bought him his sat nav. ;)

Glad you got there safely Linda and didn't need 112 (ha ha ) Probably see you soon ,there on thusrsday nite .Hope you settle in well ,some nice people there on the urb.
