What jobs do we all do (or are we retired)?
I'm just curious!
My husband took early retirement from teaching, I gave my job up and we came here and live on his Teachers' Pension.
What do other people do?

We were made an offer to come and work here by one of our customers from our gallery in Greece. The offer was incredibly good, so we said yes.
We are both currently still working for the same person as project managers.

Same as I did back in the UK only fewer hours and much more enjoyable! Self-employed building surveyor and I also now do some freelance writing for magazines. In between renovating my houses!

When we came here Sept 2006 we were going to open a B&B (mainly because of the language barrier). But that all changed once the expats heard in the Galicia region that he was a builder.

I'm a freelance graphic designer here - magazines, logos, brochures, websites, etc. Freelance'd for 7 years in the UK before realizing that working from my home office meant I could actually do it from anywhere! Doh!! Bit slow.
The Boyfriend is a stonemason for a local company. He did that for 4 years at a company in the UK before coming out here and finding a job doing the same thing.
We consider ourselves very lucky - there's a lot of stone houses n marble-topped kitchens 'round here! ehhe

We do web design, and promote a Nightlife website in the Canaries. Hubby and I work for ourselves - and haven't looked back! Love it!

We took early retirement, just potter about the place enjoying each others company and spending far to much time on the puter
