Hi Ex-pat believe it or not if you don't know what you are looking for then it can be difficult to work out what is what, bank statements are not always clear and for some reason numbers are often used in stead of names. We had 3 payments come out last month all with numbers on, when we checked our paper work it was all to do with payments for different parts of the council.

This month we have money come out and it just says credit card, this we know from last year is the fee for having a card but it took us two visits to the bank last August to sort this out. Didn't even know we had a credit card, they found it in their filing, it had been there a few weeks, gets even better we hadn't even asked for it. They kept tell us the payment was for our mobile phone recharge it was only because I kept saying it wasn't they looked in the filing box. It can sometimes be frustating but the trick is go with the flow, no point in getting upset because you get no where then, best to smile and laugh and then things get sorted.
