I have struggled to get peanut butter in Spain although I did manage to get one from the shop recently so perhaps I am not the only one.

Nothing much really, relatively self sufficient, oranges is oranges, meat is meat, veg is veg. Even have a good bread we get from Mercadona and hold a few in the freezer.
The BH insists on her Tetley tea bags, but as we arrange a stocking order from BCS which takes about 10 days then it isn't a problem. Last order we included some Cupasoups as they don't seem to be available out here.
As to TV, nothing, absolutely NOTHING
Newspapers, well already using the internet a lot so nothing much is missed.
Family, well its very small and not that close with any so having the one you love with you each night is good enough

Not a lot really except Marmite and Peanut butter, oh and Indian spices. I can get them from Gib, if I can be bothered to go, otherwise I can source some things locally or I get them brought over.

Perhaps KeighleyJo14 is conducting a marketing exercise? Odd question for a first post.

Mercadona have peanut butter. I Like to make humus. Chick Peas are here in abundance but not tahini [sesme paste] however I did get some in Intermarche Portugal. Peanut butter is a good alternative but not a sweet one. We miss bacon so I cure my own from the lovely pork here it only takes a week to cure and I make my own sausages. We do miss good steak. I have found a butcher who will prepare my pork loin for bacon and cut a leg of lamb to my requirements. I have tried to bake with the Spanish flour with limited, hit/miss sucess so like to pick up Homepride or similar to bake cakes/yorkshire pudding etc. This flour very light it is American and widely used in our favourite Engliah recepies.

in which case they won't find a great deal of info, let's face it, Spain is not that different from UK or the rest of Europe.
We all eat similar products, last week bought a nice piece of Brie, week before strong Blue.
But my alternative of Malaysia, wearing flip-flops, coolie had and a table cloth, things might have been very different but no matter where you are...
The way I look at it Eggs is Eggs.
