I cant see that happening anytime soon tho and so for now, its nice to visit, but better to get back here!

Yes, you are right Jo I think I have finally found where I want to be...but I had to go out there and check things out first.
I've made some good friends in Spain and enjoyed my time there. I'm glad you are happy Jo and long may it continue

Always remember. No place is perfect, but some are more perfect than others.

Also, sometimes the grass really is greener on the other side.

Very true! Must admit I prefer the current cold but sunny days, to the usual dreary rain.

It's a big part of why I wanted to go to Spain. The sheer grinding depression from endless grey days punctuated by the odd bit of sunshine was really getting me down. No matter how much it rains here, I know damn well that the sunshine will return in copious quantities.

Come March, if not before, we will be breakfasting on the terrace under a blue, clear sky, with the day ahead of us like an unwrapped present.

If anything approaches perfection, that does.

Having been a wanderer for many years, I used to regard home as merely a place to hang your hat, but Spain has now become the hat resting place. I was sunbathing this afternoon, but tonight is quite cold and it’s just started raining. Never mind, only three months to go before we can start complaining about the heat again.
